**Webley Mark V British Service Revolver
World War I
.455 Revolver. 4" octagonal barrel. SN: 132432. Dull blue "War Finish", checkered hard rubber grips. Double action tip down simultaneous ejection revolver with six-chambered fluted cylinder and lanyard ring in the bottom of the bird's head grip. Standard Webley markings, British military markings and opposed "Broad Arrows" indicating the gun was sold out of service. Cylinder has not been cut down for use with .45ACP and moon clips. {C&R}

Condition
Good. Bore good, moderately oxidized with some light pitting and good rifling. Metal with traces of blue in protected area, the balance a mottled gray and bluish gray patina. Metal with some scattered surface oxidation and some light pitting. Mechanically functional action, but the extractor star is a little sticky returning to the cylinder. Grips with moderate wear, some loss and repaired cracks.
