**Smith & Wesson Model 1950 Target (Pre Model 26) .45 ACP Revolver

.45 ACP. 6.5" pinned matted and grooved ribbed barrel. SN: S123194. Blued finish, color casehardened hammer and trigger, checkered hardwood Smith & Wesson medallion grips. Double action swing out cylinder five-screw frame revolver with pinned barrel, six-chambered fluted cylinder, adjustable rear sight, ramped semi-Patridge front sight, .3" wide checkered hammer spur and .25" wide grooved trigger. Right of barrel marked 45 CAL MODEL of 1950. Matching serial numbers on frame, rear face of cylinder and in ejector rod cut out. Matching mating number 42188 in frame and on crane. {C&R}

Condition
Very good. Bore fine and bright with crisp rifling. Metal with much of the blue intact showing some dulling, high edge and contact wear and a noticeable turn ring on the cylinder. Hammer and trigger with traces of the case colors intact. Action mechanically functional, tight and crisp. Grips crisp with some light handling marks.
