*Terry Tussey "Junior" Custom Sub-Compact 1911 Pistol Built with a Caspian Frame & Slide

.45 ACP. 3" barrel. SN: 28534. Matte stainless frame, matte and polished stainless slide, checkered Tussey logo double-diamond wood grips. Single action semi-automatic Browning tilting-barrel custom compact 1911 pattern pistol. Built on a Caspian frame with a Caspian slide, with the Tussey Custom logo at the right rear of the slide. Features include a 3" bull nose, bushingless Bar-Sto barrel, full-length guide rod, "memory groove" Ed-Brown type grip safety, skeletonized semi-Commander style hammer, skeletonized trigger with over-travel adjustment, melted, contoured and grooved thumb-safety and magazine release, checkered flat mainspring housing and Novak style low-mount three-dot combat sights. Includes a single 6-round magazine. A wonderful concealment sub-compact 1911 pistol by one of the best 1911 pistolsmiths. Tussey started gunsmithing circa 1959 and ran his own shop in the Reno area from about 1979 until his passing in 2020. He specialized in building high-end custom pistols and doing modifications on factory guns and counted many top shooters, gun writers and actors among his clientele. {MODERN}
