**Browning Challenger Pistol with Factory Box
.22LR. 4.5" barrel. SN: 5402U2 (mfg. ca. 1962). Blued finish, gold trigger, checkered wood grips. Single action semi-automatic blow back operated pistol with removable magazine, thumb safety, adjustable rear sight and semi-Patridge front sight blade. The gun is accompanied by its original black and red plastic Browning box and manual. This pistol was previously sold by James Julia as part of the The Frank H. Wheaton, III Collection and retains those tags. {C&R}

Condition
Very fine. Fine bright bore with some very light frosting present. Retains most of the finish with some minor high edge wear and very minor thinning. Mechanically functional when cycled by hand. Grips crisp with minor light handling marks. Box with moderate wear.
