**Remington Model 8 Rifle with Redfield Aperture Rear Sight

.35 Remington. 22.75" barrel length. SN: 65477. Blued metal finish with polished bolt set in walnut straight wrist stock with Schnabel forend. Long-recoil operated semi-atuomatic rifle charged with an internal box magazine. Sights consist of a MARBLE NO. 2 front blade and MARBLES adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. A REDFIELD aperture sight is fitted to the rear receiver. Manufacturer markings include Remington/TRADE MARK/MODEL 8 to left receiver and two-line barrel address and patent mark reading THE REMINGTON ARMS UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO. Condition
Good. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling throughout and some spots of patina and residue. Metal finish appears to have been touched up on right barrel with some light pitting that has been cleaned and blued over with visible polish marks. Some further scattered light scratches. Brown flecking to the magazine. Some gray patina forming over bolt and breech. Stock with some dents and dull spots. Forend shows front to back wiggle.
