.222 Remington. 30" heavy barrel. SN: 75. Matte stainless finish, "jeweled" bolt with stippled knob, stippled brass John Oberlies marked buttplate, heavy bench rest hard wood stock. Bolt action single shot bench rifle with an 1958 dated RA Smith barrel, John Oberlies custom work including the bolt, buttplate and possibly the stock, shoed competition trigger, mounted with a J. Unertl 20x scope in Unertl adjustable mounts with screw off covers. Reverse of butt with state of Ohio inlay. The rifle weighs slightly more than 23 pounds.
