Description

*Smith & Wesson Model .38/44 Hand Ejector with King Sights

.38 Special. 5" barrel. SN: S67172. Blued finish, color casehardened hammer and trigger, checkered custom wood grips. Double action hand ejector revolver with 6-chambered swing out cylinder. Matching serial numbers on frame, rear of cylinder and in ejector rod channel. Grips are replacements. Frame and crane with matching mating number 5265. Revolver has been modified, barrel likely shortened by about 1.5" as the crown does not look like factory work. Equipped with a King marked serrated ramp front sight base with angled reflector for blade and a "KING PAT. PEND." marked semi-Patridge front sight blade. Rear sight is adjustable with a white out line square notch. A trigger shoe has been added to the grooved trigger. The initials ADK are stippled into the left side of the frame with the "K" hidden by the grip. The revolver is accompanied by a fitted S&W marked wood box with textured faux leather covering and blue satin lining, toning to purple. The cleaning implements remain in the box as well. The box appears to be for a 4" revolver and this one does not fit correctly. {MODERN}
