*Smith & Wesson Model 640-1 with Triple Ported Barrel Customized by Weigand

.357 Magnum. 2.125" barrel length. SN: CEV0844. Matte stainless steel finish mounting checkered Cocobolo grips, pinned front ramp and topstrap rear notch sights. DAO five-shot hand ejector revolver with a triple ported barrel, and the front sight mounting a Trijicon tritium insert. Standard make and model marks. Right barrel additionally engraved with the W logo of gunsmith Jack Weigand, best known for his numerous patents for optics mounting systems.

Weigand established his company, Weigand Combat Handguns, in 1982, and continued to offer his services as a pistol smith for more than thirty years. In that time, he received the "Pistolsmith of the Year" award issued by the American Pistolsmiths Guild. He would serve as president of that organization from the year 2000 to 2002. Weigand continues to market his scope mounting solutions through his company, Weigand Machine and Design. {MODERN}

Very Good to Excellent. Bore is Bright with some firing residues that should clean to Very Bright or better. Metal finish shows a continuous turn ring to the cylinder, and light scratches to the forward triggerguard. Grips retain crisp checkering with some light dents to the right panel. Action exhibits good timing.
