A French Porcelain Figure in the Manner of Jacob Petit
19th Century
Modelled as an Ottoman Turk resting on an outcropping of rock, together with an associated faux marble and giltwood stand. The figure is in two sections which separates at the waist.
Height of porcelain 13 inches.

Condition
The figure is in overall good appearance retaining its elaborate painted and gilt decorated embellishments. The porcelain displays discoloration around the joint/opening where the top portion (torso and above) rests inside the bottom section of the figure (waist down). This discoloration is most likely evidence of old repair/restoration. Please see numerous condition photos. The figure is in otherwise good appearance presenting only minor wear commensurate with age.
