comprising two sterling silver collars, the first by Andrew Barrett & Sons, Birmingham, 1899, engraved, "Jess/ Miss E. Taylor/ Kenilworth/ Ascot," marked, with padlock, and the second by William Henry Sparrow, Birmingham, 1905, with plaque engraved, "Alice/ Capt. Collins/ R.M.S. Hildebrand 14.6.13," marked, and with two bells and a padlock; six silver tone mixed metal collars, one with padlock and engraved, "I" and "EL," and another engraved, "Wm. R. Fieles/ Gen'l Wayne Hotel/ Balto, Md."; four brass and mixed metal collars, one engraved, "Gayford/ 139 Disraeli Rd./ Putney"; and a wrought iron collar with brass plaque engraved, "Mssr. Mercier/ Espalion, Aveyron"; sold together with a sterling silver collar clasp with attached key, Birmingham, 1899, marked, retaining lable for Bonhams Brooks & Doyle, New York, February 13th, 2001, lot 5.
