[EDUCATION-RELIGION]. Programs, directories, and yearbook from Fisk University and Miles College.



Ephemera from two historically Black educational institutions, Fisk University in Tennessee and Miles College in Alabama. Included in the lot from Fisk are the following: the Fisk University Bulletin; Alumni Directories 1981, 1996, and 2000; The Lighthouse 1930 Vol. 1; an examination booklet, 1956 commencement program; copies of Fisk News; and a program from the 43rd Annual Arts Festival In Celebration of the Fisk University Singers' Centennial Year. Included in the lot from Miles is a large group of more than two dozen papers, many related to concert programs and "The Harmonia Club."

[With:] A group of 20th-century religious items, many related to traditionally Black churches. Group includes books, papers, and church publications from various denominations.
