Kangxi Period (1662-1722)
One of barrel-form with reserves of birds in landscapes against a bleu souffle ground, the other comprised of "bamboo" sections, decorated with roosters and floral sprigs.
Heights 4 1/8, 4 3/8 in., 10.5, 11.2 cm.

Updated 3/17/2024Overall good condition with moderate wear to enamels and gilding as per age and use, scattered frits to extremities; scattered glaze, potting, and firing flaws, small firing crack to top of handle of "bamboo" pot; under UV light no apparent repairs of restorations were seen.Additional photos are updated before the sale via this link (asian.smugmug.com/Sale-2046).
