A fine selection of plates of hummingbirds and flower bouquets and fruits, that combine natural history with high Victorian design. Paul Jerrard was the publisher of a series of gift books of the highest quality, the present work being parts 1 and 2 of the four works he published under the collective title Gems for the Drawing Room: ...Fruit & Flowers, 1852, [vol.I]; ...Fruit & Flowers, 1852, [vol.II]; The Humming Bird Keepsake, [n.d.].
