Provenance
The reference 2479J, produced during this golden era, is a rare and exquisite example of Patek Philippe’s craftsmanship. This particular model stands out with its bold design, untouched dial and sharp, clear hallmarks on the case.Powered by the revered Caliber 9-90, a rhodium-finished movement featuring a Gyromax balance and a swan-neck micrometer, it’s as mechanically impressive as it is visually stunning. The silvered dial features applied facetted baton markers, a subsidiary seconds subdial, and slender baton hands for a clean, sophisticated mid-century look. The rectangular stepped case, with its gently curved glass, half-hooded lugs offers a timeless design. Every component — from the movement and dial to the case was meticulously produced. The engraving on the back is equally beautiful and timeless “Because I Love You Always and Always”.
