An Unusual Japanese Painted, Carved, and Gilt Lacquered Center Table, Meiji Period


With rectangular top over single drawer with enameled pulls, carved in high relief with peonies and birds, similar carving to all sides of the skirt and between the series of cabriole legs, joined by a carved stretcher shelf; engraved metal mounts.
