Condition
Framed: 41 1/2 x 57 1/2 x 3 inches.Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is lined; artwork has been treated in the recent past for what appears to be inpainting, per a conservation label on the verso; network of craquelures throughout; minor, small areas of inpainting visible in scattered areas throughout, visible under close scrutiny; under a highly reflective varnish. Under UV light: small spots of inpainting scattered throughout the surface; a possible area of tear repair in the center right, within the drapery of the right-most woman; one larger area of inpainting in the lower center of the floor, approximately 1 x 3 inches in area.
