Condition
Framed: 26 x 32 1/2 x 3 inches.Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is lined; passages of the canvas have been pressed; paint separation within the blue chair of the seated woman; inpainting outlines the woman's figure, but only visible under raking light; a thin horizontal line of inpainting along the lower edge; pinpoint abrasions along the upper center edge; pinpoint white paint droplets in the left-most woman's skirt; one pinpoint paint loss in the lower left, below the curtain edge. Under UV light: the aforementioned lines of inpainting around the seated woman fluoresce; inpainting within the sleeves and lower edge of the center girl's dress, as well as pinpoint dots of inpainting along her hairline; one localized area of pinpoint inpainting in the lower left corner; a thin line of horizontal inpainting along the upper edge; additional minor spots of inpainting along the edges.
