Verso bears Anthony/Brady imprint and penciled identification. -- Seated half portrait of General David HUNTER in uniform. New York: E. Anthony, n.d. Verso bears Anthony/Brady imprint and penciled identification. -- Seated half portrait of General Robert FOSTER in uniform, holding his sword across his lap. The military commission consisted of 9 men, 4 of whom are not represented in individual portraits here including General Thomas M. Harris, Lieutenant Colonel David R. Clendenin, Colonel C. H. Tompkins, and General Albion P. Howe. Acting as part of the prosecution (and featured here) were Hon. John A. Bingham and Colonel Henry Burnett, serving as special judge advocates, and General Joseph Holt, serving as judge advocate and recorder.
