Lot of Four Mission Knives: 3 Fixed Blade Knives Including: MPK, MPT, and MPS and 1 MPF Folding Knife
1) MPK 7" clip point single edged, half-serrated titanium alloy blade. 12" in overall length. Composite hilt. Composite sheath with rubber leg straps.
2) MPT 7" semi-clip point single edged, half-serrated titanium alloy grooved back blade. 12" in overall length. Composite hilt. Composite sheath with webbing belt loop.
3) MPS 4.5" clip point single edged, half-serrated titanium alloy grooved back blade. 9.75" in overall length. Full tang design without added grip material. Composite sheath with webbing belt loop.
4) MPF folding knife. 4" single edged modified drop point half-serrated titanium alloy blade with liner lock. Titanium alloy frame and scales, removable belt clip.
A 1998 letter from Homer Brett accompanies the MPK providing design and historical details for this knife. All of these were initially designed and intended for use by US military special operators and the titanium alloy, non-magnetic properties made them useable by EOD and other specialized troops that needed to have non-magnetic knives.
