**Finnish Captured Izhevsk Model 1938 Mosin Nagant Carbine

7.62x54mmR. 20.2" barrel length. SN: ZhT2720 (Cyrillic). Arsenal reblued metal finish with polished bolt set in straight wrist birchwood stock with adjustable tangent rear notch and post and globe front sights. Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle with full length upper handguard. Rear sight is calibrated from 100 to 1000 meters. Barrel shank shows Soviet {Sickle and Hammer} acceptance mark above a date of 1941. Barrel shank additionally shows the {Arrow in Triangle} marking of the Izhevsk arsenal. Finnish boxed SA capture mark to the left side of the barrel shank. Serial numbers of barrel shank and bolt match with magazine floorplate number ground off. Comes with a Soviet pattern dog collar canvas sling.
