**Ithaca Model 37 16 Gauge

16 Gauge. 26" barrel length (Including Choke). SN: 198314. 2.75" chamber length. Adjustable Poly Choke. Blued metal finish with hunting scenes engraved onto the receiver flanks mounting walnut semi-pistol grip stock with checkered wrist and ribbed forend. Slide action repeating shotgun fed by a tube magazine featuring a white bead front sight mounted to the POLY CHOKE. Right receiver engraved with a {Pointer watching two pheasants rising}. Left receiver scene depicts {Three ducks above a pond}. Item displays standard make and model marks, and comes with the original black synthetic ITHACA marked buttplate. The wrist has been embellished with an alloy pistol grip cap, and alloy borders hammered into the edges of the checkering.

Condition
Good. Bore is Very Bright. Metal finish shows brown mottling over the top of the receiver, some further brown flecking and streaks overall. Some further scuffs and scratches. Magazine tube displays operating wear. Forend finish is flaking off with some scuffs and scratches. Stock is spliced at the upper wrist with some wood fill at the edges. The borders hammered into the checkering protrude slightly, and occasionally catch the handler's palm with sharp edges that should be deburred or hammered down.
