**Winchester Model 52 US Marked with Redfield International Match Sights

Vietnam War

.22 LR. 28" barrel length. SN: 120007D. Blued metal finish with polished bolt set in a Walnut semi-pistol grip stock with slotted forend mounting a black synthetic hand stop, and an AL FREELAND marked slotted butt. Bolt-action single shot repeating rifle mounting tunnel front sight and a rear aperture sight marked REDFIELD/International/MATCH. The rifle additionally mounts two scope mounting blocks to the top of the barrel. Left receiver has been marked U.S. via electropen. Bolt handle is marked 451 in electropen while the serial number 120007D is marked into the left flank of the bolt. Rifle shows standard markings including WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK to the right receiver with standard make and model markings on the left barrel. Receiver and barrel both display Winchester monogram proof marking on the left side. Item comes without buttplate. The combination of the U.S. marking and the serial number to the bolt indicate this rifle was used by the United States government. Similar rifles were used for competition and marksmanship training throughout the USA.

Condition
Very Good. Bore is Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Blued finish exhibits scattered light mars and scuffs, and some scratches overall. Some light edgewear to the receiver and triggerguard. Brown patina forming on the bolt handle with some grey patina on the bolt body. Stock shows a light dent to the left butt, further dent on the comb, and some scuffs and dents over the forend. Item missing the buttplate.
