Description

*Constitution Arms Palm Pistol .38 Special with Case and Accessories

.38 Special. .5" barrel. SN: 00000046. Matte stainless metal, polymer furniture and palm rest. Single shot, swivel barrel palm pistol with double grip safeties, push button triggers and Picatinny rail for light or laser. Advertised as the "World's First Production Handgun for the Disabled", the inventor also tried to get the unique design qualified with the FDA as a medical device, which failed. Intended for use for those who cannot operate a conventional handgun, the pistol features push button triggers on both the top and bottom allowing for firing by either the thumb or even pinkie finger. Additional options included a screw on 2" barrel extension shroud for the externally threaded .5" barrel, a screw on "strike bezel" which added serrated teeth at the muzzle to create an impact weapon and the Picatinny accessory rail attached to this gun. The pistol is as new in box with all of the above mentioned accessories, a second size polymer back strap, factory paperwork, Allen wrench to attach and remove the rail and back strap, a fired cartridge case. Made in very small numbers, these are a unique and very modern take on the classic "palm pistol" concept. {MODERN}

Condition
Excellent. As new in box. Fine bright bore with crisp and sharp rifling. Metal with some old dried factory oil on the surfaces and some very minute handling marks on the polymer. Mechanically functional action is a little stiff, probably from the old dried oil on and in the gun. Box and accessories fine.
